talkaoke is back for COP15

this week mikrogallery is hosting london art collective the people speak, who will be running the planet’s first diy democratic decision-making climate summit this friday the 18th december, 7pm during the grand finale of klimaforum09 at dgi-byen.

expect an evening of inspired ideas, dynamic discussion and decision-making live in copenhagen, and world-wide via the web stream.

people from all over the world have sent in some genius ideas, from olivia the climate scientist’s achievable and proven plan for an inner-city composting education scheme, to 6 year-old ashton’s scheme for a 300 mile-long sanctuary for 12000 cobras! this friday, it will be up to each of you to  discuss the ideas and then decide where your money goes.

on friday the 18th december at 7pm, make your way to the climate forum at dgi-byen, copenhagen, or if you’re elsewhere you can pledge online at http://pledgepyramid.org and follow the events there.

there will also be a pre-game public discussion on wednesday 16th december at rådhuspladsen from 12 noon to 9pm when talkaoke returns to copenhagen for a long day of climate chat. bring your own agenda!
